Students will be introduced to the key areas of Islamic Jurisprudence relating to worship and personal rituals. Through the lens of a classical legal manual used by Muslim scholars for centuries, students will explore Islamic approaches to ritual purification, worship, and other fundamental practices to the Islamic faith.

To assess the applicability of key legal rulings in the 21st Century.
To understand a range of legal Islamic rulings pertaining to prayer, fasting, charity, pilgrimage.
